YAKIMA - Anthony "Tony", "Bobby" Wandler, 75, of Yakima, passed away Thursday, January 3, 2008 at Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital with his loving daughter beside him.

Tony was born September 25, 1932 in Billings, Montana to Antone and Eleanor (Brown) Wandler. He was raised in Yakima, attending St. Paul Cathedral School. He married Mertice Rinehart in Yakima.

Tony was a paint contractor for many years at Hanford. He was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church. His hobbies included playing guitar, singing, camping and jeeping. He was proud of his 12 years of sobriety. He especially enjoyed his family and grandchildren. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Survivors include three children, Charles (Joell) Wandler of Vancouver, WA, Janet (Denny) Kibbe of Yakima, and Terry Wandler of Battleground, WA; five grandchildren and their families, Shannon (John) Grim and Ashley and Kyle Grim; Charell (Robin) Krause and Ryan and Jenna Krause; Lynse (Kelly) Pullen and Kyden Pullen, Nick Wandler, Mary Miller and Celeste Miller and Eric Miller; also brothers, Ervin (Nadine) Wandler and Lloyd Wandler, all of Yakima. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Skip Wandler on June 3, 1989, a son, Timothy Robert Wandler on November 24, 2003, one sister and three brothers.

Memorial services will be held Friday, January 11, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at Langevin-Mussetter Funeral Home. Inurnment will follow in Tahoma Cemetery.
