Lena, age 98, died at the Estelline Nursing and Care Center. She was the daughter of Harry and Sarah (Williams) McClard. She graduated from Clear Lake High School in 1926 and General Beadle Teachers College with a bachelor of science degree. She retired from teaching in 1973. She married C. Everett Christopherson on November 28, 1940; he died on April 30, 1951. She married Floyd Druse on May 20, 1956; he died on March 19, 1979.
Survivors include her sons, Douglas Christopherson and Patrick Christopherson, her step-children, Don Druse, Joan Podhradsky, Patsy Duguay, and Shirleen Druse, her brother, Cliff McClard, 5 grandchildren, 11 step-grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and 5 step-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by both husbands, her parents, two sisters, and four brothers.
Funeral Services were held at United Church of Christ Estelline. Interment was in Toronto Cemetery in Toronto.
