Computer Scientist. Founder of Digital Research, Inc. and creator of CP/M computer operating system (predecessor of Microsoft DOS), he was one of the pioneers in the Personal Computer market. He earned a PhD in Computer Science from The University of Washington. He was a co-host of "The Computer Chronicles" for PBS.
