He owned Musgrove Furniture Company for over 30 years before moving to Lake Logan Martin in 1977. He was on the Board of Trustees at Jacksonville State University from 1971 to 1983,from 1984 to 1988 he was Mayor of Riverside, Alabama.
He was a 60 year Mason, Shriner and member of Vestavia Hills Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Grace and William Hudson Musgrove; his wife Virginia (Cowgill)Musgrove;an infant son; brothers Joe and Bill; sisters, Ella Sue Musgrove Yarbrough and Dorothy Larvetta Musgrove Stuart. He was survived by two daughters and several grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Burial at Elmwood Cemetary. He was my second cousin.
