Located on the southern township line, in the Southeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section 32, Township 28 North, Range 4 West, the burial ground is suspected of being home to many unknown and unmarked graves.
The cemetery was located on the United States Geological Survey (USGS) Topographical Map of the Medford area as "Tureck Cemetery", at an elevation of 1,163 feet.
However, no reference to the cemetery was evident in the land records found at the Grant County Court House in Medford.
This tract was included in the Southwest Quarter of Section 32, mentioned above, and was patented to Frank Turek on June 23, 1898.
In a Warranty Deed dated March 21, 1900, Frank and his wife conveyed this Southwest Quarter to Joseph Turek.
On January 19, 1927, Joseph Turek and his wife conveyed this same Southwest Quarter to Joseph Skrdla, who along with his wife conveyed it to John Skrdla on December 14, 1942, who is the apparent record owner of the Southwest Quarter where the cemetery is located.
