From the main entrance of Slater, at MO Hwy 240 and Route C, cross the railroad tracks and immediately turn right, (east), just in front of the Slater sign, on Front Street. Travel four (4) blocks to Main Street (stop sign, and the railroad depot on your right). Turn left (north) on Main Street, and travel three (3) blocks to Parker Street, First Christian Church will be on you right. Turn right (east) and travel three (blocks) to North Central Street and turn left (north), travel 0.4 mile and you will see the cemetery on the left.

"Sign on cemetery says established 1889. The reason some burials date before that and before Slater was established 1878 is that the road that became North Central Street predating Slater had a church located there with a cemetery. When Slater was founded, the cemetery remained but the church moved its congregation to the new town."
