Members included Jehu Stough, Melchor Mellinger, Elias Eyster, and Wm Lewis. A small meeting house was built soon after at the village of Unity - flourished, then weakened by 1860, the Rev D Hess, a regular appointment began and it fourished again. A meeting house was build nearly opposite the site organized in 12 Nov 1862, and named the following trustees: Charles Shook, Levi Forney, Samuel Earley, Perry Zeigler and Benjamin Forney. Church had 50 members under Rev O W Holmes. The church continued and had a Sunday school of 75 members of which Charles Shook is Superintendant (1879) Per WPA survey in 1940's this cemetery is listed as being one acre, and "only a few burials have been made in this during the last 30 years. Most of the members of this church moved elsewhere of affiliated with other churches. The church building has been sold and dismantled. The Unity Twp Trustees have now taken ofer the care of cemetery." They mistakenly listed the earliest burial as "Hosea H Shook, June 8, 1818", In truth, death date was 1848.
