This OLD cemetery has burials dating back to 1856, and has others as recent as 2006. It is extremely well kept. The wrought iron fence is new. I was told that the new owner of the land not only purchased this lot, but the ones on each side of it, so the cemetery would not be desecrated and lost. He also paid for the new fence. Bless his heart for his generosity and respect for the dead. I'm sorry but I do not know who "He" is. To reach this cemetery, go east from State Highway 35 on Ranch Road 2853. It is the road just to the south of the Farm Road 616 and State Highway 35 intersection which road 616 goes into Blessing. Go about five miles east to a new subdivision which will be on the left. You'll know it when you get there because of the fancy brick architecture sides along both sides of the entrance road, that are about four feet high. Turn right at the first street inside of the subdivision, and continue to the end staying to the left. The Grimes Cemetery will be at the end of the street.
