The entrance to Cox Cemetery, located on now Martin property, Silex Missouri. When taking this photo, I was standing next to Perkins Cemetery, that close in proximity. There was a road at one time that seperated the 2 cemeteteries and is now a right of way, but is now all grown up with brush. Both located about 10 feet from an open field. When looking up death certificates on some Perkins, it has them buried at "Cox GraveYard". In 1981, when census was done some of those names are located at the Perkins Cemetery. This cemetery also gets confused alot with Sanders-Cox Cemetery in New Hope Missouri, across hwy 61 east.
