The location of "Daniels Cemetery" was recorded by the WPA in 1940: From the Atlanta and Saint Andrews Bay RR Depot in the town of Campbellton, go east on dirt road for 3/10 mile. Turn left (north) on dirt road, go 1/10 mile, turn right (east) on dirt road, go 4 miles, turn left ( northeast) on dirt road and go 1 and 2/10 miles to cemetery which lies on right (east) of field.

This is the family cemetery of Jonas Daniel lying to the west of Daniel Springs. Early settlers in the family were buried here from 1819 until 1887. All of the marble headstone were stolen sometime during the 1950s (along with those at the nearby Callaway cemetery), leaving only a few impressions in the ground to mark the cemetery.
