As of September 2023, the family that owns the cemetery lives in the homes closest to the driveway on the west of the cemetery. That driveway also gives access to the southern part of cemetery. The northern part of the cemetery is directly across the road from that driveway.

Small family cemetery in two parts, with the southern part on private land. This cemetery was started in the late 1990s. The road was moved slightly to the south, placing come of the graves across the road from other main part of the Ballentine property, where the more recent graves are located. The older graves on the north side of the road appear to be in the southwest corner of the Rock Hill MB Church Cemetery, and the land legally belongs to the church. These graves do receive some care from the church, though a caretaker at the church considers those graves to be part of the Ballentine Family Cemetery.
