In a cemetery where the people of the Al-Mas'udiyya village and some of the people of Jaffa buried their dead already in the second half of the 19th century. Following the cholera epidemic that broke out in Jaffa in 1903 and the need to bury the dead far from the city. An official permit was given by the Ottoman authorities for the burial of the Jaffa Muslim dead there. In 1963, the Hilton Hotel was built on the site, and Abed a-Nabi's tomb and the tombs around it were enclosed by a wall and are located south of the hotel.
