Little Moses Shaw's stone was set on "Shaw's Hill" in St. George, 218 years ago. This is a prominence that forms the eastern brow of the Magaguadavic River gorge overlooking the falls. It was near the western end of what was Miss Albenia McKenzie's garden next to the Presbyterian Church. And there, among the shrubs and trees and ferns, it used to sit close to the steep edge of the gorge.
