This early Shaker cemetery was rediscovered in 1971 and documented in a slim pamphlet entitled "The Range Hill Cemetery" for the 2011 annual meeting of the Friends of the Shakers. The cemetery location is clearly defined in the pamphlet with an excerpt from Androscoggin County recorded land plan #45-77 dated 17 Mar 2006. The Maine Old Cemetery Association includes this small, private plot in its cemetery index as AndPol23 Range Hill Cemetery.
