The original Old Catholic Cemetery was originally just referred to as the Catholic Cemetery. It started being used in 1890. It was sold to Greenwood Cemetery, which adjoins the cemetery, in 1905 for $1 by the Diocese of Green Bay.

In 1915 land was acquired for the new Calvary Cemetery, located several miles from the old cemetery. Section 1 of the current Calvary Cemetery is the original Calvary Cemetery. Some bodies were disinterred from the Old Catholic Cemetery and moved to Section 1 of Calvary beginning about 1916. In 1933 more land was deeded to Calvary by Martin Theiler, this is section 2 of Calvary Cemetery. Between 1933 and 1963 the majority of the bodies at the Old Catholic Cemetery were moved to Calvary. A few bodies remained at the Old Catholic Cemetery due to family choice and/or lack of funds to move them. There are approximately 20 burials remaining in this cemetery. There have been no new interments for over 100 years.



The cemetery is off County Road U and Greenwood Road in the woods just west of the Greenwood Cemetery.
