As noted above, a part of the story of the Colony and its inhabitants is told in the volume "Treasures of Time - The Rural Municipality of Cartier (1914 - 1984)", especially starting on page 407, where the relationship with the Huron Colony in the RM of Cartier is illustrated. More of the story is told in the follow-on volume "Treasures of Time II - The Rural Municipality of Cartier (1985 - 2014)". A digital version of these and many other Manitoba local history books can be found online in the University of Manitoba Digital Collections.
A list of burials in this cemetery is available from the Manitoba Genealogical Society (reference #1263), transcribed by a member or members in 1994 and updated in 1999. Also available to MGS members is a searchable online database named the "MGS Manitoba Name Index" (or MANI). Some additional information is contained in the 1996 MGS publication "Carved in Stone: Manitoba Cemeteries and Burial Sites" (revised edition, Special Projects Publication, 106 pages).
