Located SE of the community of Nesbitt, MB, on the SE corner of the T-junction of Provincial Range Road 37N with Chesley Road (aka Provincial Road 103W)
There is no network of improved roadways providing vehicular access to the grounds.
NOTE: The cemetery is managed by a local committee on behalf of descendants of the senior Patterson couple. Current contact information for them is available on the Municipality of Oakland-Wawanesa website [2024/03].

William Patterson married Jane Orr in 1871 and they had twelve children, namely: Thomas, Martha (Mrs. Andrew Minary), Edward, Robert, Bella (Mrs. Tom Lloyd), Minnie (Mrs. Elmer Cowlthorp), Mabel (Mrs. Frank Harris), Bruce, Joe, May (Mrs. Jack Kent), Herb and Alfred. William and Jane came from Orangeville, Ontario, with their family in 1880 and homesteaded the northeast quarter of 02-07-18[-W1] in the Oakland Municipality. In 1895 they moved across the Souris River to the Lilly Hill district.
