McNelly Cemetery is located on the property of Taylor Steinberg as of 2020. It is across the road and on top of the ridge from the barn that says "Steinberg Farms 1865."

There isn't a road to the cemetery, so you will need to walk. At the top of the ridge is a planted field and the cemetery is in the middle of the field. The cemetery is has a few large trees and is like an island in the middle of a field. The tombstones are broken and have been gathered and placed against a tree. There may be more tombstones in the cemetery than what I found, there was a lot of underbrush when I visited and my search was impeded.

The cemetery is located on private property, so please ask permission before attempting to find it. It is located in the middle of planted crops, so please keep this in mind when planning a visit. If it is planted in corn, you may not want to plan a summer visit. Also keep in mind hunting season (deer season is fall, turkey season is spring), when access may be limited for your safety due to people hunting on the land.
