The Wahrani African-American Burial Ground was also known as "Slaves Graveyard".

The cemetery is located 300 feet to the northwest of Wahrani Church.

Initially it was used for enslaved African-Americans.

In 1937 it was covered with periwinkle.

Only one known burial was noted at that time (Tomasia Lewis, buried after 1900).
