There are about 4-6 large flat, coffin-shaped rocks here. The rocks are piled under a tree in the middle of a field on the old John Bivens, Sr. Homestead located between St. Paul and Brashears. The graves are in the extreme southeast corner of the SE 1/4 of the SE 1/4, Section 6, Township 13 North, Range 26 West.

The rocks have no inscriptions on them and are not located on the actual graves since they have been placed in a pile underneath a tree. The picture shown here was taken in the 1980's when the stones were still on the graves.

Directions: From St. Paul, Arkansas, go West on Highway 23, for 1 ½ miles. The rocks are piled in a stack by a tree in the field about 200 feet from the highway, and can be seen from the highway. The rocks are located on private property and you should obtain permission from the landowner before entering property to view the tombstones.
