KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:
COUNTY OF BLANCO )
That I, W. P. Stanley, of the County of Blanco and State of Texas, for and in consideration of the sum of One ($1.00) Dollar to me cash in hand paid Jas. H. Clark, as County
Judge of Blanco County, Texas, and as further consideration that the hereinafter described
premises shall be designated and know as the "W. P. Stanley Public Cemetery"
HAVE GRANTED, SOLD AND CONVEYED, and by these presents do GRANT, SELL and CONVEY,
unto the said Jas. H. Clark, County Judge of Blanco County, Texas, and to his successors in
office for burial or cemetery purposes the following described parcel of land lying and being
situated in Blanco County, Texas, and being about 1 acre on a hill and near the center
of the Isaac McMahan survey, No. 96, on the waters of the Pedernales River, South side, a
tributary of the Colorado River, about 9 miles S. 80 E. from Johnson City, Texas, said
survey having been patented to D. T. Iglehart, Assignee, of said Isaac McMahan on the 18th
day of May, A. D. 1893, by Patent No. 79, Vol. 8.
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the above described premises together with all and singular the
rights and appurtenances thereto in anywise belonging, unto the said Jas. H. Clark, County
Judge of Blanco County, Texas, and to his successors in office for cemetery purposes only.
And I do hereby bind myself, my heirs, executors and assigns to WARRANT AND FOREVER DEFEND
all and singular said premises unto the said Jas. H. Clark as County Judge as aforesaid, and
to his successors in office, against every person whomsoever lawfully claiming or to claim
the same or any part thereof.
