John Henry Chitwood and his second wife, Ruth Bernard Chitwood, are NOT buried in the Angle Cemetery in Wirtz VA as per Find-a-Grave. Instead, he is buried in the Griffith-Angle Cemetery. This cemetery is very overgrown and in a poor state of repair located on a rise at the fork of Little Creek and the Black River (southeast corner.) It is on private property of Dean & Dale Angle at the edge of a large soybean field. It can only be reached using a four-wheel drive vehicle from Iron Ridge Road (VA #775.)
