Remarks: On August 14, 1862, in Original Book 30, page 382, Highland County Deed Records, Frederick SIRCOULOMB and Catharine his wife of Brown County, Ohio, conveyed to Frederick DRUHOT of Highland County, Ohio, 40 acres, 1 rood, 16 poles of land "and the said Frederick SIRCOULOMB and Catharine SIRCOULOMB his wife for themselves and heirs to reserve and set apart for ever for burial purposes the following parcel of ground a fraction of the above described premises bounded and described as follows," containing 6 poles. This cemetery lies behind the barn on the farm owned in 1952 by James DRUHOT. No monuments could be found other than a few field stones. Mr. DRUHOT states that members of the SIRCOULOMB family are buried here but their names are unknown. He also stated that he had lived on this farm for 65 years and that this cemetery was considered very old when he was a young boy.
The cemetery is located on the west side of Township Road 143A between its intersection with Kay Road (Township Road 140A) and the Brown County line.
The cemetery is located in White Oak Township, Highland County, Ohio, and is # 5361 (Sircoulomb Cemetery) in "Ohio Cemeteries 1803-2003", compiled by the Ohio Genealogical Society.
