Estelle is located around 3 miles north of Hamlet, Nebraska. From hiway 6 take turn to go into Hamlet. Take the farthest east road that runs north out of Hamlet. You know your in the right place when you get to the two story stone building. This was the trading post called Estelle. Access is not easy to the cemetery. From the stone house look to the southwest corner of the field across the road to the west. This is the location just outside the field. "If" the one large stone is standing you can see if from there but the last time I was out there, cattle had gotten in and knocked it down. It is fenced in so very apparent when you get out there. Pretty good sized but very few stones. Years ago some were moved to other cemeteries (Palisade for one that I know of for sure). No written records are known of.
