    Located about 5.1 miles (8.3 km) driving distance, southeast of the town of Snowflake, on the north side of Provincial Highway 201

    There is no network of improved roadways providing vehicular access to the grounds.

A part of the town's story and those of its inhabitants from the early days of European settlement through roughly 1988 is told in the volume "A Diary of Snowflake, Manitoba". A free digital version of this and many other Manitoba local history books can be found online in the University of Manitoba Digital Collections. There is also a list of such books organized by district and town name on the Manitoba Historical Society's website on their page entitled "Finding Aid: Manitoba Local History Books".

A list of burials in this cemetery is available from the Manitoba Genealogical Society (reference #0612), transcribed by a member or members in 1991. Also available to MGS members is a searchable online database named the "MGS Manitoba Name Index" (or MANI). Some additional information is contained in the 1996 MGS publication "Carved in Stone: Manitoba Cemeteries and Burial Sites" (revised edition, Special Projects Publication, 106 pages).

Additionally, many records for defunct Lutheran congregations in Manitoba are now kept in their main offices in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.

Also of note, the local Pembina Manitou Archive curates a considerable collection of records and information about the people and places of the area, including a listing of those buried in this cemetery based on the files of the Rural Municipality of Pembina, the church files, and the information on the gravestones in the cemetery.
