Add PhotosREED'S CHAPEL METHODIST CHURCH. This is one of the twin churches ... The land on which the church stands was first entered by John Depew. In 1834 he sold the land to his daughter Betsy and her husband Binns I. Wren, deed signed by John and Polly Depew, acknowledge before Guy Beck, JP. The Depews were buried in a field north of the road and west of the Dowell corner. The Wrens were buried in a small plot north of the church.

WREN CEMETARY?
These tombstones were found propped against a fence at the house just north of the twin churches, near the Reed cemetery. Farm belongs to H.L. Hunt, his birthplace.
