St. Michaels and All Angels Church and church yard has its origins in the later part of 1200s AD and was rebuilt about 1844. Remains of the original church seen today are just the bases of pillars within the nave. On the Chancel south wall is the original drainage tank, used for the disposal of water from liturgical ablutions, called a "piscine." Other parts of the church contain rock and material reused, but are not identified. This is regarded a Grade 2 Historical Church in England. The graveyard, was reset (markers removed and covered over), in the early 1800s allowing for new burials.
