The cemetery is located on land owned by the Rural Municipality, but it is managed by a local committee, whose current contact information is available by contacting the RM of Wallace-Woodworth office [2023/10].
This church and its associated cemetery were situated in the Rural Municipality of Wallace-Woodworth. The building, constructed of amber-coloured bricks in 1903, replaced an earlier log structure from 1883 that had been destroyed by fire. Built primarily with volunteer labour, it began as a Methodist Church (1883-1923), then became Presbyterian (1923-1925), and after 1925 was a United Church. In the early 1980s, the church was featured in a series in the Manitoba Co-operator newspaper on rural architecture.
A final service was held in 2008 and the building was demolished in late 2014. A commemorative plaque was later erected on the former church site.

A part of the town's story and those of its inhabitants from the early days of European settlement through roughly 1967 is told in the volume "Proudly We Speak - A History of the Rural Municipality of Woodworth", especially starting on page 225. A free digital version of this and many other Manitoba local history books can be found online in the University of Manitoba Digital Collections. There is also a list of such books organized by district and town name on the Manitoba Historical Society's website on their page entitled "Finding Aid: Manitoba Local History Books".
A list of burials in this cemetery is available from the Manitoba Genealogical Society (reference #0870), transcribed by a member or members in 1994. Also available to MGS members is a searchable online database named the "MGS Manitoba Name Index" (or MANI). Some additional information is contained in the 1996 MGS publication "Carved in Stone: Manitoba Cemeteries and Burial Sites" (revised edition, Special Projects Publication, 106 pages).
Additionally, many records for defunct United congregations in Manitoba are now kept in their main offices in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
