This cemetery is located on private property off of North Horace Walters Road, Raeford, NC. Permission is required to acces.

This cemetery appears in the 1937 NC Cemetery Survey as "Sinclair Cemetery".
In 1942, the authors of the "Lumber River Scots and Their Descendants" refer to this same cemetery as "Buffalo Cemetery"
Location Information:
The 1937 surveyor describes the location of the cemetery as follows:
"It is about ten miles from Raeford and not on or near highway. From Raeford go up the Turnpike Road for about eight miles and [turn] to the basket maker. This cemetery can be see from the home of this old [basket maker]."
The authors of the "Lumber River Scots" further describe the cemetery as being near the farm of John Sinclair, a descendant of Beatrice Torrey.
The 1937 survey lists only seven (7) graves for this cemetery.
