Information was taken from Cemetery Transcription located at the Rushville Public Library. These records were compiled in Bertha Bunker Smullen 1936-1939.
It indicates that this graveyard is located "2 miles northeaast of Raleigh. Abandoned 1886, graves plowed over". Note: This is located in Washington Township
Another note on the transcription: "These records copied from old tombstones piled again fence."
The cemetery was located in Washington Township (SW quadrant of the SW quadrant of the SW quadrant of Section 2 Township 15N Range 10E) on the north side of E County Road 1100 N and east of N County Road 300 E. The map location is approximate.
Indiana Cemetery Locations, Volume 1, published by the Indiana Genealogical Society (02 April 2005), gives the primary cemetery name as Chorn Cemetery with an alternate name of Corn Cemetery.
