This cemetery is located near the corner of Town Brook Road and Narrow Notch Road, Hobart. NY. In 1933 Don McPherson referred to it as "Old Cemetery in the Township, between the Farm of John Davis and the Old Blish Farm".

In May-Jean Warren Howard's book, "Burials in the Town of Stamford and Vicinity", she refers to it as "Town Brook Cemetery".

When this cemetery was transcribed by Don McPherson, in April 16, 1933, there were 30 or 40 old field stones with no record. The cemetery was badly neglected with small trees and brush grown up in the area.
