The Jefferson Cemetery was just south of Circleville in what is known today as the Jefferson Subdivision. It was .5 mile East of State Route 23 and .5 mile south of T-16. Fortunately, Charles and Darlene Weaver copied the inscriptions from the stones that they could locate on October 16, 1991. Without their work, the burials here would be a mystery. The listing here is from their work as it appears in Paul E Mayberry's cemetery work for Pickaway Township, and published by the Pickaway County Historical and Genealogical Society. There is no mention if any of these burials were moved to another cemetery when this one was abandoned.

The cemetery is located in Pickaway Township, Pickaway County, Ohio, and is # 9572 (Jefferson Cemetery) in "Ohio Cemeteries 1803-2003", compiled by the Ohio Genealogical Society.
