Photos

Located in Shade Township, Somerset County, PA. From US Route 30 (Lincoln Highway) west of Buckstown, take Ridge Road (SR 1021) for 3.5 miles and turn left onto Wilbur Road (SR 1012). Proceed for 2.5 miles, entering the village of Wilbur, and turn right onto Weigle Road. Proceed for about 3/10 mile and turn into private driveway. The cemetery is said to have been located about 100 yards up the lane and in the woods to the right.

NOTE: Attempts to find this cemetery have been unsuccessful. In the 1930's this was on the property of the Knickerbocker Coal Company and was most likely destroyed by strip mining. Most of the information was obtained from the original 1930's WPA Survey or from obituaries and other related sources.

In the 1930's WPA Survey, only Daniel and Julia had headstones that contained inscriptions and there were 5 adult and 2 children's graves that contained native fieldstones, uninscribed.
