Located within the territory of the Opaskwayak Cree Nation, between Kiche Maskanow and Saysee Road, with Kiche Maskanow being the road with the easiest access from outside the community via a junction leading to the south of Provincial Highway 10 and then NW to the site of the property
There is no network of improved roadways providing vehicular access to the grounds. The only access is via two marginally-maintained roads that cross between Kiche Maskanow and Saysee Road to the north and south of the graves.

This cemetery is on Opaskwayak Cree Nation territory near The Pas, Manitoba. The southern part of the property holds many of the earlier Indigenous and Pioneer graves, including many for veterans of WW1, WW2, and the Korean War, among other services.
The northern part of the property is still used as a cemetery for local people of First Nations heritage.

A small part of the story that occurred on the land of this First Nation from the early days of European settlement through roughly 2011 is told in the volume "The Pas 100 Years -- Photographs 1912 - 2012". A list of burials in this cemetery is available from the Manitoba Genealogical Society (reference #1701), transcribed by a member or members in 2018 and updated in 2020. In their records, the cemetery is associated with the Anglican Church.
