Name: Lawrence Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery; aka Old Cotton Meeting House Church.

The church burned down many years ago and there is no photograph available. It is located on the corner of Hwy 258 and Medford Road in the woods about 1 mile north of Lawrence and about a mile from the Halifax County line. Some of the interred may be Halifax families. One county map refers to this as Meetinghouse Church.
The cemetery is in a beautiful grove of trees with the sun shining through. There are about 10 graves with funeral markers which are no longer readable; one grave has a wooden marker with no readable name.
