No longer Extant.This cemetery was located on the corner of Pine and Marsh streets and was used during the
Civil War for Union military personnel who died at the former Hammond Hospital in Beaufort. Sometime after the war; the military buried here were exhumed and reburied in the National Cemetery in New Bern, N.C. It is said that some Beaufort citizens were also buried there at one time. No evidence of graves currently exists.
