Incudes 3 old Roake Farm burial plots
Small cemetery plot located on Rt 132 opposite the Bernstein Adam House property. Contains only 4 visible headstones, with inscriptions. It has been restored with 2 of the fallen stones reset in the ground. Two brownstones are very eroded, the face of one has almost completely fallen off. One is inscribed Gabriel Strang son of Francis and Elizabeth Strang.
Very difficult to locate
The plot is located in the woods on a bank above the highway on the North side of road. The intersection of Strang Blvd is approx 100 yards down the road. There is a house nearby.
As of October 2 2016, Per The NYS and National Registers of Historic Places. The location has been assigned the Unique Site Number (USN) 11918.000099.
--------
The entire lot is The Hyatt Burying Ground -- inactive since 1825
