From Luray, Va. Go east on business Rt. 211, to Reservoir Avenue (at the traffic light) turn right and continue to Fairview road. Stay on Fairview road to the end. Turn right and then turn left on Rt. 669, go .4 miles to a mailbox on the left (Virgil A. Ellis). Turn into this lane that leads to his farm. Permission can be gotten at house to go to cemetery. The cemetery is approx. 200 yards northeast of this house on a bank near creek. The cemetery is not fenced tombstones are broken off their bases. Approx. 66 uninscribed fieldstone marked graves are in the burial area, also 4 graves marked with plank head and foot markers, that Mr. Ellis states had inscriptions in the past. There are 2 marble stones missing from their bases. Many of the inscribed stones are weather worn and badly eroded and are very illegible.
