Started out as a Deeded Public Graveyard in 1851 by landowners Solomon Anderson & Alison Remy called "Anderson's Grave Yard." Burials probably began around 1850 and probably ceased around 1870.
E half of the site today is considered PRIVATE PROPERTY. W half of the site today is landlocked within PRIVATE PROPERTY. Its exact location and boundaries are known and documented by the deeds. It is NOT MAINTAINED as a cemetery today.

ndiana Cemetery Locations, Volume 2, published by the Indiana Genealogical Society (01 April 2006), gives the primary cemetery name as Hauser Cemetery with an alternate names of Burney Cemetery.
The cemetery is listed in the Cemetery and Burial Grounds Registry of the Indiana Department of Natural Resources (DNR) and in the State Historical Architectural and Archaeological Research Database (SHAARD) with Cemetery Record Number CR-03-85 (Hauser / Burney Farm / Anderson).
