Cimitero di Sciacca (Sciacca Cemetery) is located on Via dell'Arca, just off of Via Cava dei Tirreni, in Sciacca, Province of Agrigento, Sicily.
The City of Sciacca is a wonderful tourist, spa and seafaring city, full of churches and monuments. Sciacca is known among other things for its ceramics for its historic carnival. Sciacca is located on the coast of the Sicilian channel, which faces the sea from the southern side through a long spur of the white cliff of Cammordino. To the east rises Mount Kronio, three hundred and eighty-six meters high, at the foot of which the famous thermal waters spring; while to the north the town is also protected here by the limestone hill of San Calogero, known for its basilica on the highest point of the hill, to the west the landscape is interrupted in Capo San Marco, a cape renamed for its beautiful beach. It is in the shape of an amphitheater on the Sicilian sea, in front of the island of Tunis and Pantelleria, halfway between the prestigious ruins of Eraclea Minoa, Agrigento and Selinunte.
