The occupants in this cemetery were on record with the Recorder's Court in Savannah, GA before 1968 and it was referred to as the Old Cemetery, so I named it myself to Old Wells-Vallotton Cemetery based on the occupants names. Some Vallotton names were also spelled as Valentine in census records and it is unknown where these people were born. Some names found I found in the census showed their race as White.

The cemetery is in a fenced area on west side of the HV Jenkins High School campus. The original markers are gone but someone has placed a beautiful granite marker with all the original information etched into it.
