Add PhotosThis cemetery is known as Earl Cemetery or English Cemetery (by the old settlers). It was located just south of Hwy 60 about five miles east of Plainview. It was just about where Jennings Falls Baptist Church was. This used to be a thriving community and in 1879 the Baptist Church had 61 members and the Pastor was Rev. Rufus M. Hardberger, who is buried at New Bethel Cemetery, northeast of Plainview. This cemetery was moved to the Salem Cemetery, north of Plainview, when the Nimrod Dam was built.
