Add Photosidentifiable as a 40 by 40 meter area with approximately 17 east-west grave depressions (Plate 25). The area was surveyed and this cemetery identified during Fort Pickett
Cultural Resource Management Project 2005.26 where the cemetery was determined not eligible for the National Register of Historic Places but all ground disturbing activities in the vicinity of the cemetery were to be avoided (Boyko et al. 2006:57). This is one of 3 cemeteries (see Waddle and Martin Cemeteries) marked as "relocated" on Tract D-494 (north cemetery) owned by Charles Martin in 1944 (see Table 1 and Figure 1). It is included on Godburn's list of cemeteries moved to Butterwood Church where 15 unknown individuals are recorded (Godburn 1977: G-5)."
