Add Photos"This family cemetery is located south of the intersection of Cherry Tree and Course Roads within Fort Pickett's controlled access danger area. This cemetery is marked as
"relocated" in Tract F-293 owned by Henrietta Marion Riley in 1944 (see Table 1 and Figure 1). Godburn's list of graves moved to Butterwood Church notes the relocation of
"Unknown 19" individuals from this cemetery while the metal markers at Gills Bridge Road note 2 Unknowns (Godburn 1977, G-6; see Table 5). The exact location of this former cemetery has not been identified at the time of this survey."
