The Shoffner Family Cemetery was located on the old Samuel Shoffner homestead in Ringgold Township, Jefferson County, Pennsylvania. Fourteen members of the Shoffner family were buried within the original cemetery (ca. 1860). Unfortunately, the site was completely destroyed by a coal strip-mining operation in 1978, which occurred without the respectful re-interment of human remains.
