The Ridgel Cemetery is located a few yards northwest of the intersection of county roads 96 and 57 on the Cleveland Reynolds place, north of Wilmar. It appears to have been a large burial ground at one time and is believed to be have been used by the slaves of the landowner who lived here years ago. Two headstones with names broken off. One dates D. 11-21-1858 aged 46 years. The other B. ?-25-1823 D.3-3-1844.Four other stones broken and parts missing.
