This private cemetery is located near CR40 and CR71 on a farm. It is .4 miles east of CR71 and is located on the south side of the road about 1/2 mile back to the edge of the woods. From SR1, go east on CR40.
There is only one stone remaining, with evidence of possibly 6 other graves.
History:
Extracted from the Cemetery Transcription Book by Kathleen Smith Vose.
Located in Section 25, Wilmington Township, DeKalb County, Indiana, near County Roads 40 & 71, on the Russell Grogg Farm.
There appeared to be six to ten graves, possibly more.
Only one stone found.

James Rose & family left Trumbull Co., Ohio and settled in Wilmington Twp., DeKalb Co., Indiana in 1846. They again moved in 1866 to Mower Co., Minn. ... James Rose's farm may have been adjacent to William Crooks' farm.
William Crooks .... married Nancy Rose. Nancy was the daughter of John Rose Jr. who settled in Stafford Twp., Dekalb Co., Indiana in 1836. John Rose and William Crooks lived within about a half a mile of each other.
The relationship between John Rose and James Rose is they were first cousins and brother-in-laws. John Rose's first wife was his first cousin, Rhoda Rose, sister of James. Rhoda died in Trumbull Co., Ohio and John remarried to Sarah Coats before coming to DeKalb Co....
