Cemetery on private property that in more recent times was called by the property owner's name "the Roberts Cemetery".

This is the burial place of my gg-grandfather, Samuel T. Pruit and final resting place of the wife and child of my other gg-grandfather, William S. Stamps.

When I first visited this cemetery, I was very surprised that it had survived over 100 years as intact as it was. One reason was the cement wall around the Stamps graves and the old iron fence around Samuel T. Pruit's grave that kept all the livestock out. But another is the respect given to the burial place by all the property owners who became the caretakers of the land. Many thanks to them from our family.

With the present owner's permission, several Pruit family members began building a new fence around the cemetery in 2005.
