The old church that was built around 1920 and torn down around 1969-70 after hurricane Camille. The church building prior to this one was close to Tallahala Creek, off Highway 29. Established in 188, making it the oldest Baptist church in Perry County, Mississippi. Although the church was originally established as a "Gospel Church", later a Missionary Baptist Church, and in the late 1950's it became a Southern Baptist Church.

Beautiful, well kept cemetery.
