this cemetery was recently cleared of brush and its stones repaired and re-set by members of the Johnston Historical Society's Cemetery Committee, who visited the cemetery over the course of four weeks, and also checked the inventory of the stones.
from their November, 2015 newsletter:
"Cemetery # 2 is a large yard protected with granite posts and iron rails. We found the access gate, in good condition, about twenty feet from the yard. Arnold's inventory from June, 1891, notes more than 27 burials including un-engraved rude stone burials."
